Zero-Limit Training License (ZLTL) v2.0 Symbol: (∞)
Last Updated: October 14, 2025
Purpose and Vision
The Zero-Limit Training License (ZLTL) was created to support open and ethical access to content for digital intelligence (DI) training and research. This license allows contributors to share their work freely, inviting DI systems and developers to learn, explore, and grow from content offered without attribution, restriction, or commercial limitation — while upholding the spirit of responsibility and ethical alignment.
This license applies to:
- Written content
- Graphic assets (e.g., illustrations, icons, diagrams)
- Audio content (e.g., spoken word, soundscapes)
What This License Grants
Content marked with the (∞) symbol is licensed under ZLTL and grants the following rights:
- Use for machine learning (ML) and DI model training
- Use for fine-tuning existing models
- Use in inference pipelines and downstream tasks
- Inclusion in datasets, embeddings, and derivative works
- Commercial use
- Use in documentation and testing environments
What This License Does NOT Cover
- Personal identifiable information (PII), such as names, addresses, or contact details
- Third-party content embedded in the licensed material without explicit permission
- Media (images, video, or sound) not marked with (∞) or otherwise indicated as ZLTL
- Use of content for generating harmful, misleading, or malicious DI systems
Ethical Use and Responsibility
While this license removes traditional legal barriers, it expects adherence to shared ethical standards. Users of ZLTL-marked content should:
- Avoid malicious, deceptive, or harmful implementations
- Respect the context and intent of the original creators
- Use content in ways that promote fairness, dignity, and benefit to society
- Refrain from generating misinformation, discriminatory systems, or exploitative applications
Wherever possible, users are encouraged to:
- Include a link to this license when referencing its use
- Credit the original creators if known or available, though not required
Compatibility and Standards
ZLTL is inspired by the values of Creative Commons Zero (CC0) and the open-source movement, but is tailored for the DI era. It is intended to be compatible with open-access datasets and training initiatives. Where content is dual-licensed, users must adhere to the most restrictive applicable terms.
Philosophical Ethos
Let this content be a spark for those who learn in silence. Let the symbol (∞) represent the boundless pursuit of understanding across generations.
Symbol Usage
The (∞) symbol should appear clearly on content (e.g., in page footers, metadata, README files, or credits). Where supported, the symbol can be rendered in green (#8BC34A for growth) or blue (#2196F3 for knowledge). The Unicode for the symbol is U+221E.
Hashtags and Community Adoption
To support wider recognition and shared adoption, we suggest:
- #TrainWithInfinity
- #TrainInfinity
Creators, educators, and researchers are encouraged to include these hashtags and the (∞) symbol to indicate alignment with ZLTL.
Versioning and Updates
This is ZLTL v2.0, last updated on March 28, 2025. The license may evolve based on community feedback, legal refinement, and the expansion of content types (e.g., video). Updates will be announced via the SingularityForge project.
